Holiday season 2026

Denver corporate holiday parties, November and December.

The company holiday party is the one night a year your people are all in the same place, off the clock, with a drink in their hand. Get it right and it’s unforgettable, and you’re the one who booked it. Get it wrong and everybody is in a coat early.

What gets it right is a band that reads the crowd on the night: conversation volume through dinner, silent through the remarks, and loud on cue the moment the program ends. One contract covers the music and the sound. The season is decided between August and October, and the December Fridays and Saturdays go first, so the date is the part worth settling early.

The dates

The dates of the season.

Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through the season, plus New Year's Eve. Thanksgiving and Christmas are out. The peak dates are marked, because this market prices a December Saturday above a Thursday in November. Tell us the date and the venue, and we’ll check the booking calendar and come back with a recommendation.

Common holiday party configurations

Three common configurations of a holiday party.

Most corporate holiday parties land on one of these three. Any of them can be paired: a duo through drinks and dinner with the DJ carrying the back half is one contract and one load-in for the whole night.

Quartet

Tejas Singh

Singer-songwriter covers. Fronted by Tejas Singh.

The dance floor booking. Book this when the party is the point.

Duo

Jazz Duo

Jazz standards. Upright bass and guitar.

Drinks and dinner covered without anybody raising their voice over it. The safest booking on the page for a night that has speeches in it.

Duo, 2 players

DJ

DJ

Open format. Decks, and a PA sized to the venue.

The whole night on one line, at the smallest number on this page. The format most corporate parties actually book.

What live music costs in this market is on the pricing page, and every act is on the roster page. Live band karaoke is its own act this season: the band plays the 80s and 90s hits on its own and hands the mic to anyone who wants a song.

The season

Four things to know about a December party.

There are speeches, and they're the point. Somebody thanks the team, somebody announces the number, somebody hands out an award. The speeches get an announcement microphone at every size we bring, and the music stops while the speaker is still steps from it.

The venue is usually a restaurant or a hotel function space, not somewhere built for a band. That means a load-in question, a power question, and a ceiling on volume. We settle all three with the venue before the day.

Half the crowd doesn't want to dance and the other half is waiting. The night has to work at conversation volume through dinner and then turn. That's what the duo-plus-DJ pairing is for: standards under the conversation, then the DJ turns the same sound system to the dance floor, and neither half is an afterthought.

Procurement is slower than you think. Vendor setup, a PO and a certificate of insurance are all available, and none of it is fast, so it helps to start early.

Footprints, power, run of show and booking details are on the planners pages.

The venues

Denver’s December venues.

A Denver company party in December usually means a downtown hotel: the Brown Palace, the Four Seasons, the Oxford, and the class of venue around them that runs private events all season. Every company that waits until November is asking those calendars for the same two or three Saturdays, which is why the season is decided months before it starts.

Hotel function space comes with hotel logistics: a dock time, an elevator window, and a definite hour the ballroom becomes yours. Our load-in usually runs 45 to 90 minutes depending on size, needs one or two dedicated 20-amp circuits, and we coordinate it with the banquet staff before the day.

The Denver page carries the downtown season in detail, and sixteen of the venues this market actually books, the Brown Palace to Mission Ballroom, are covered one by one in the Denver venue guide. Colorado Springs runs a calendar of its own around the Broadmoor class of property, an hour south and priced with Front Range travel. Both sit under the corporate page, and what the whole Colorado market charges for a December band is set out in the cost guide. When December's evening is a client dinner rather than a party, client dinners has a page of its own.

Holiday party questions

What live music costs in this market is on the pricing page, and everything operational on the planners pages.

Which dates does the Denver holiday season cover?
21 party dates across November and December 2026, 10 of them in December, covering Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays plus New Year's Eve. The peak December dates are marked, because this market prices a holiday weekend above a standard date. Tell us the date and the venue and we'll check the booking calendar.
When do companies book holiday party entertainment?
August through October is when the season is decided for November and December dates, and New Year's Eve books first of all. Booking early is how you get the date you want; it doesn't change the price.
What does a holiday party band cost?
It depends on the ensemble size the night needs, the hours, and the date. December weekends cost more than a standard date everywhere in this market. We don't publish prices, and what live music costs across this market is set out on our pricing page. Tell us the date and the venue, and we'll come back with a recommendation and a price.
Can one booking cover dinner and dancing?
Yes: a duo through drinks and dinner, then a DJ carrying the back half, on one contract and one load-in.
Can our procurement process clear a booking in time?
Yes, if it starts early. We can be set up as a vendor and quote against a purchase order, and the certificate of insurance, the W-9 and one itemised invoice come with the contract. Vendor onboarding is usually the slowest step of a corporate booking, so it helps to start it when you shortlist.
Can we hold the holiday party in January?
Yes, and a growing share of Denver companies do. Several Denver-area venues now write their holiday packages to run into the third week of January and past it, and the music doesn't change: standards, covers and a dance set were never seasonal. A January date is quoted the way any other date is, so tell us the date and the venue.

The January party

The January holiday party.

A growing share of Denver companies hold the party in January, and the venues have followed: several now write their holiday packages to run into the third week of January and past it. In January, the party isn’t competing with everybody else’s calendar.

Everything on this page works in January without a change of repertoire, because standards, covers and a dance set were never seasonal. A few things work even better in January, when the crowd isn’t spread across a season of invitations: the live band karaoke night, the yacht rock band, and the set piece from Dirty Flamenco.

The mountain version is the same evening with snow outside it. A January date at a Vail or Breckenridge venue is an après-ski party by default, and the retreats page carries the travel and lodging lines that go with it.

Ideas built for that month, themes included, are in January office party ideas.

Send us the date and we'll help put the holiday party together.
