Most of what decides whether a band is easy to work with has nothing to do with the music. This page is the part that does.
Included in every booking, never an add-on. One person, named before the event and reachable throughout it — usually one of the players, most often the bandleader. You get their number with the contract, not at load-in, and you are never hunting for whoever looks in charge.
Certificate of insurance naming the venue, W-9, and the contract, sent together. You should never be chasing a COI the week of an event, and you should never find out at load-in that one doesn’t exist.
Business hours, every time, including the questions that are annoying to answer. If we are going to be the easy vendor, that starts before there is a booking rather than after.
Rates are published. Travel, peak dates and additional hours are their own lines. Nothing appears later that wasn’t on the quote.
If you want your own ceremony musician, or a marquee DJ you already trust, and us only for dancing — that is a booking we want, and it should not feel like a compromise. We would rather be one good part of a night you assembled than the reason you had to argue with a vendor.
Where it does help to use us across the night, the reason is arithmetic rather than loyalty. Once we are in the building the setup is paid for, so an hour of cocktail duo added to a full band booking is $450, and an hour of DJ after the band is $350. Two vendors cannot reach those numbers.
We are new. There is no review history and there are no awards, and we are not going to borrow credibility we have not earned. What we can give you is a straight answer to any question on this page, published pricing you can forward without editing, and a first booking where nothing lands on your desk.
If you already have a band you trust, the useful thing is probably not to replace them. It is to be the call when they are booked.
