He’s a folk and Americana songwriter based just outside Denver, with six records behind him, King of the Mountain and Here and Now Is Home among them, and an NPR Tiny Desk Contest entry every year since 2019. He calls it heady folk for the open-hearted, and the company he keeps on a playlist is Josh Ritter, Jeff Tweedy and The Avett Brothers.
Solo, it’s a voice and an acoustic guitar. It plays under welcome drinks and on a patio at a volume people talk across, and it’s the right size for a dinner party or a retreat evening where the songs are the point of the night. He’s played the listening venues around Denver, Swallow Hill and the Black Rose Acoustic Society among them, and stages at the Denver Botanic Gardens and the Clyfford Still Museum.
